Easy Caramel Frosting (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups powdered sugar
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
03 - 1 cup packed brown sugar
04 - 1/4 cup milk
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Warm the butter and brown sugar together over medium heat in a saucepan. Stir gently as they melt and blend.
02 - Slowly mix in the milk and let it bubble softly. Keep stirring for a couple of minutes to avoid sticking.
03 - Take the saucepan off the stove. Give it time to cool off until it’s warm but not too hot to touch.
04 - In a bowl, stir the cooled caramel mix with the powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip it up until it’s silky smooth.
05 - Spread the frosting on your treats right away or keep it fresh in a sealed container for later.
