Heat your pan to medium and cook the ground beef until browned. Get rid of any extra grease.

Throw in the garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, and hoisin sauce. Stir everything together until blended.

Add the cabbage and carrots to the pan. Stir-fry just enough so they get tender but stay a little crunchy.
